The OGs of VGR. The first proper full scale VGR release was the Yawns’ Pretend EP. It was a supplemental release to the Early LP which had just been issued by Undertow out of St. Louis. This started a long and fruitful relationship between the Dreadful Yawns and VGR. There were a series of tour only EP as part of the Immediate Family series as well as a series of albums that were available one time only at select live shows.

Today the Yawns are very different in look and sound. Ben is the only remaining original member. Founding members Charlie Druesedow is now drumming in rock legends Hot Rails, and Dave Molnar plays with GTBT.
