A Boy and His Tortoise

Mike Allan has been playing bass in rock bands since he was 15. At one time he was the resident Davenport Collective bass player, playing in The Dreadful Yawns, Volta Sound, Mike St. Jude, and Voxcaster.

Then he bought a guitar and started writing his own material. Soon he had the greatest break up album of all time on his hands.

To us it sounds like nothing else. It’s 100% Mike Allan. It’s got a dash of the Microphones thrown in with some stellar orchestral pop.

The album sold out long ago. The good news is there is another album being mixed right now. Full of sonic detours this new one takes the listener in the same direction as the S/T debut, but on a whole other set of roads!
